Lakme Fashion Week is style statement of the Indian ethnic wear and is renowned for bandwagon patterns which always create a niche in the fashion world.
The veteran fashion designer Pallavi Jaikishan created a buzz in the show by showcasing her collection after 40 years on the ramp of LFW winter 2012. Her eternal collection closed the first day of LFW. Her line of clothing is divided into four segments: Sajala (Clouds with a golden Lining), Mandara (The mythical Tree), Elavia (A thing of beauty and grace), and Ayiana (The eternal bloom). She designed from bridal wear to festive Line in which she included Sarees, Lenghas, Anarkali dresses and designer Jackets. She choose pastel color palette like Rose Pink, Cream, peach, Vermillion and mint green. But the showstopper who is a famous model in orange Lengha blended with golden embroidery stole the show. We also see the use of chiffon, net and silk material in her authentic bridal collection. She used floral motifs in her collection so beautifully which give a feminine look to her models.
