Raghavendra Rathore

Born and brought up in Sun City of India Jodhpur, Raghavendra Rathore is an international fashion designer. He belongs to royal family background – cousin of maharaj Gaj singh of Jodhpur. May be, that’s why he inherited royal creativity from his culture.

During Indo-Pak war, his school was bombed and hence he was sent off to Mayo College boarding school in Ajmer. Later he studied in US, where Raghavendra studied Liberal Arts from Anthropology, Astronomy, Modern American Fiction, and Robotics at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He then studied Arts and Philosophy at the Marlboro College in Vermont, and went on to graduate from the Parsons School Of Design, New York City, in 1992.

Rathore is well known name in luxury fashion for men. Raghavendra Rathore label is king of the Jodhpuri Bandhgala suits. We are very thankful to him as he has turned the traditional jodhpuri outfits into royal ones.

J.J. Valaya

Most of the wedding sherwani seems to be an off-white or red sherwani. Indian Fashion Designer J.J Valaya designed some beautiful differently styled sherwanis other than usual red and white sherwani.

JJ Valaya was born on the 8th of October, 1967 and is well-known fashion couturier. His distinctive fashion trends trace us back to the pre-independence grandeur of royalty. He is popularly called the ‘Monarch of Indian Fashion’ due to his royal creativity. Twisted with a touch of contemporary designs, his groom wear outfits are unique. JJ Valaya and his brother TJ Singh established the House of Wallya.

J.J Valaya is an active founding member of FDCI. He is the first official brand ambassador of  Swarovski. His creations are extraordinary interpretations of traditional indian textile forms in modern days.

Tarun Tahiliani

The next celebrity on the list is Tarun Tahiliani. The most celebrated fashion designer of India, Tarun Tahiliani literally swooned us over with his amazing men’s ethnic wear collection. All men’s ethnic wear designed by Tarun Tahiliani is a collection to die for!

He established India’s first multi-designer boutique “ensemble” with his wife Sailaja tahiliani. Rajesh Pratap Singh

Rajesh Pratap Singh, another talented menswear designer started his own line in 1997. Rajesh is very skilled to develop new fabrics and very minimal body work.

Famous for his jackets, shirts, blazers, dhoti pants, double-breasted coats, angarkha-jackets, sherwani, kurta pajama and fitted trousers, Rajesh creates a magic for men’s ethnic wear.

Guys with sophisticated taste of outfits must check out his collection. Pratap has won top awards like best menswear designer honor at the Fashion awards for 1996, and designer of the year at the GQ Men of the Year grants in 2009.

Graduated from NIFT, Singh is originally from Rajasthan. He was trained with New Delhi-based designer David Abraham for a year, before graduating. He, worked with the Italian menswear label, Marzoto for two years. Singh started his own line of men’s and women’s clothing in 1997 after his experience of two years in the fashion industry in India and Italy.

Rohit Bal is an Indian Fashion Designer from New Delhi, India. He is popular for designing couture outfits for both men and women. Born in Kashmir, Rohit Bal graduated from Srinagar and then received a bachelor’s degree in history.

Rohit Bal creates flamboyant and opulent men’s ethnic wear. Designing since 25+ years, Rohit’s outfits are nothing short of a regal look.

Rohit Bal widely uses silk, cotton, linen, velvet in making mens wear like sherwani, kurta pajama or Indo western sherwani. He weaves magic with zardosi, gota work, stonework, applique work, brocade on wedding wear.
